Depending upon where your shipment is going and which carrier you are assigned (FedEx or DHL), there will be either two or three documents to print for your international shipment. Whichever carrier you are assigned, the instructions below are the same.
- Print three copies of your shipping documents.
- Put the first copy inside your baggage.
- Secure a luggage tag to the handle of your baggage and put the second and third copy inside of it. Fold your second copy so the label can be scanned clearly. The third copy can be folded and inserted behind the second copy.
Where can I get a luggage tag for my international shipment? You will need to buy a luggage tag from a local carrier store. You can use our online store locator to find out where a nearby store is. We always recommend calling the location beforehand to ensure they have supplies in stock.
The only label and documents that should be attached to your baggage are the label and documents for this leg of your shipment. Please do not put any other labels for future shipments inside or on the box. Additionally, please do not tape the label onto your baggage as it will not be securely attached.
