When scheduling a pickup from a business, please make sure your shipment is packaged properly, labeled, in the designated pickup location, and that you're aware of your business's pickup procedure.
Pickups can be scheduled on any business day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. ShipCamps charges a fee for pickups outlined here.
Use Regular Pickup Driver: If your business location has an established daily or regular UPS or FedEx pickup, the same driver who typically services your location will likely be the one collecting luggage for sporting gear. The carrier picking up your shipment is specified on your order confirmation email and your shipping label.
Identify the Normal Pickup Area: If your building has a designated mailroom, shipping area, or reception desk where carriers routinely pick up items, you’ll need to leave your shipment in that area. Even if a specific suite number or floor is included in your order details, drivers will typically head straight to the standard pickup location for your building or business.
Label Your Shipment Clearly: Ensure your shipment is properly labeled with the required shipping information and labeling supplies to avoid any confusion during collection. If possible, inform your mailroom or reception staff in advance about the scheduled pickup.
Understand Pickup Timing: Business pickups generally occur during regular business hours, which may vary depending on your location and carrier. However, in some cases, pickups can extend beyond these hours. To avoid delays, make sure your shipment is ready and accessible well before the carrier’s expected arrival.
By following these guidelines, you can help ensure the pickup from a business is seamless. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact us.
